memokitchen is the new home of our transcription service at podwriter.wordpress.com. Using crowdsourcing and some of the latest open source technologies, we're constantly trying to make our services quicker, easier and better.

For the past three years, we have been providing the back end support of the transcription services for some of the best Web 2.0 podcasts around, and the most well-known universities and respected government agencies in the US.

We've dealt with all sorts of audio from multiple speakers to foreign accents and tech jargon. Now, we're also venturing into other online errands such as editing, and content writing - just some stuff that you wish you could do but just couldn't be bothered.
